Life in Alaska

Edward F. Grala recalls life in Alaska, where he had opportunities to hunt and fish during his spare time. During one of these fishing trips, he shares a memorable encounter with a black bear and her cub. Additionally, he notes that, as the person in charge of airplane maintenance, he was often exempt from other menial tasks on base.
