Edward F. Grala
Bio
Edward Grala was born in Syracuse, New York, in 1933 and graduated from Eastwood High School. In 1953, he enlisted in the New York National Guard. During the Korean War, he was stationed in Alaska as a crew chief on a C-47 Skytrain, where he played a key role in maintaining the aircraft and delivering supplies to radar sites. After his discharge in February 1957, he returned to Syracuse. Later, he became actively involved in the American Legion and KWVA Chapter 105, where he continued his commitment to supporting fellow veterans.
