Donald Duquette (85) was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He was a professional photographer before joining the military on August 13, 1950. During his service period, he was stationed in Pusan from late September 1950 to June 1951. He served in the 25th Division Photo Section as corporal before his discharge. He was a combat still photographer, and was present at the UN offensive from September 16 to November 2, 1950, as well as the CCF Intervention from November 3, 1950 to January 24 of the next year. He was also at the first UN Counter offensive from January 25 to April 21 of 1951, as well as the CCF Spring offensive from April 22 to July 8, 1951. He received the Japan Occupation, WWII Victory, Pacific Anniversary, as well as Korean Service for his commitments. After he was discharged in July 1951, he got married and went to work for the phone company.
