Carl M. Jacobsen (81) was born in Boston, MA, and had been graduated from high school when he enlisted on February 1, 1950. He arrived at the Kimpo Air Base and was stationed in Taegu, as a part of the 187th airborne. He was a PFC and participated in Combat Jumps, Munsoni, SucJon and WonJu as a part of the infantry, Company H. He departed from Korea in April of 1951, and enrolled into Boston University when he returned. After he was discharged on February 10, 1953, he worked in the computer business for 30 years. His current hobbies include reading, and many sports including golf, swimming, and running.
