Kenneth D. Cox (84) was born in Lincoln County, MO. He was working as a salesman in a furniture store when he was drafted in 1951. During his service period, he went to Incheon, Korea, and was stationed in various locations around Seoul and Teague. He served in the 44th Engineer Battalion as a Corporal, specializing in engineering and construction. Among the friends he remembers is Sgt. Joe Peterson. Upon returning from his rotation, he went to work as an electrician and as a telephone man for a small telephone company and then for AT&T for thirty years. His hobbies include woodworking, and he belongs to KWVA, Chapter 44, Group 1.
