Thomas Nuzzo (82) was born in NYC. He was attending college when he was drafted in NYC. His military service was carried out from 1953 to December 1954. During his service period, he went to Pusan, Korea and was stationed at Kwan Di-Ri on Soyang Gang from August 1953 to November 1954. He served in the US Army 10 Corps as a PFC. He was in charge of Infantry and Troop Information and Education. After returning to the United States, he returned to college and graduated Fordham University. After being discharged from military service, he taught English and History. The most memorable experience of the war for him was the training of the ROK 1st Army staff, and what impacted him most was his personal relationships with Koreans and Americans. His hobbies include the guitar, art, sports, and photography.
