Bradley Strait (79) was born in Canandaigua, NY. He was a student at Syracuse University and a freshman in Liberal Arts before he enlisted in the military. His military service lasted from 1951 to February 1955. Strait was stationed aboard the USS Joseph P. Kennedy, DD-850 from February 1951 until 1955, during which time he visited many countries. He served in the US Navy as an ETI and electronics technician. After being discharged from the military, he returned to Syracuse, where he continued his education in engineering at Syracuse University.
