Neal Taylor (80) was born in Auburn, NY. Before enlisting in the military, he worked in a grocery store. His military service lasted from September 1950 to September 1953. During his service period, he went to the K-9 Air Base and was stationed at K-9, north of Pusan, from October 1951 to February 1953. He served in the Air Force as a Private and became a Sergeant 1st Class by the end of the war. During the Korean War, Taylor was an Armament Specialist and loaded bombs and guns onto B-26s. After he returned to the United States, he went to Lockbourne Air Force Base in Columbus, OH, where he performed armament inspections. After being discharged from the military, he worked in a gas station.
