Martin Goge (86) was born in New York City, and had been working for Esso Export in NYC until he was drafted in 1950. He arrived in Incheon on November 1, 1951 from Japan, and was stationed at Chorwon Valley as a part of the 14th company, 27th Regiment, and 45th infantry division as a 1st SGT. For his commitments, he received the bronze star and CIB. He returned from Korea in the fall of 1952 and was discharged later in the fall of the same year. He became a salesman and finished night school afterwards. Now, he enjoys playing golf.
