Theodore A. Paul (80), was born in Hartford Connecticut and was in school in Litchfield, Connecticut before enlisting on February 10, 1950. He arrived in Japan in July of 1950, and Korea on September 15, 1950. He was a part of the 1st Amtracs “A” Co., 1st Mar Division/ “H” Co. 3 Bat- 5th Mar. He was a PFC upon entering and a S/SGT upon discharge, as a part of the infantry. His discharge was on August, 1983, after 33 years. He says his most memorable experience of the war was his “long, cold walk back from the Chosun!”
